1. For the connection between the cable and the electrical equipment, a junction box compatible with the explosion-proof type of the electrical equipment must be used. The core wire of the cable must be connected to the electrical equipment using a tooth crimping plate (claw) or a wire lug.
2. High-voltage cables must be connected with a cable junction box that meets the requirements, and the junction box must be filled with insulation filling.
3. Different types of cables (for example, paper pressure insulated cables, rubber sheathed cables, or plastic cables) must not be directly connected, and must be connected with a junction box, connector or bus box that meets the requirements.
4. When connecting low-voltage rubber-sheathed cables, in addition to the connection box, connector or bus box that meets the requirements, the protective shell of the intermediate joint is jacketed after cold shrinkage.
5. For the connection of plastic cables, the mechanical strength, electrical, moisture-proof sealing, and aging properties of the connection should meet the technical standard requirements of this type of mining cable.
6. The cable must enter the cable entry device as a whole, and be pressed tightly with a cable pull-out prevention device and be well sealed.
7. Junction boxes located in flat lanes or inclined lanes should be placed on brackets or hoisted. The joints must not bear the capacity, and there should be no water spray on the junction boxes.
